Balloon Safaries

Description

Tarangire National Park and Serengeti National Park offers balloon safaris. Your day will begin early, departing from your accommodations at approximately 5am to travel to the balloon launch site. After the balloon inflation and safety instructions are given, the balloon carrying between 12 - 16 passengers will launch for a flight lasting approximately one hour. At times hovering just a few meters off the ground to other times soaring very high. At the landing there is a sparkling wine celebration, and a full-table English breakfast (with more sparkling wine and fresh juices). The entire event will be finished by 10am after which you will proceed with the rest of your day's itinerary. Including a balloon safari in your itinerary adds $650 per person to your itinerary price. We must make reservations for you in advance for your participation. There is no maximum age for "reasonably mobile" passengers. The minimum age is 7 years old (with some loopholes for 6 year olds based on height and ability to understand English). Passengers weighing more than 120kg (265lbs) may be charged an additional amount.
