- Swimming: Enjoy a refreshing dip in the clear, deep waters (But We do not recommend to swim in the lake, although you see people doing it and it is not prohibited.
- But we don´t consider it safe, because of the lake´s depths and a small chance to encounter crocodiles in the water (mostly at night).
- Wildlife Spotting: Look for baboons, vervet monkeys, and diverse birdlife (raptors are common here).
- Picnic Lunch: Head back up to the crater rim for a picnic lunch or a meal at the Safari Camp restaurant with panoramic views.
- Nature Walk: A short walk around the upper rim to see the different viewpoints and the unique "Lake Chala Tilapia" (endemic to this lake).
